Ansys LS-DYNA is the industry-leading explicit simulation software, used for applications such as drop tests, impact tests, collision and crash tests and more.
It can simulate the response of materials to short periods of intense loading. Even models with many parts or interacting surfaces can be easily managed, with accurate modelling of interactions and movement of the load through complex behaviours. Solution times can be drastically reduced by using a computer with a higher number of CPU cores.
