Ansys Motor-CAD is an electric machine design tool allowing users to quickly but accurately analyse the entire range of operation of the machine.
Motor-CAD lets designers evaluate various types of machines right from the concept stage, taking a multiphysics approach to consider their magnetic, thermal and structural behaviour. The Motor-CAD software’s four integrated modules (EMag, Therm, Lab, Mech) ensure rapid performance of multiphysics calculations, allowing users to move from concept to end design more quickly. Motor-CAD offers high-accuracy 2D/3D analysis, allowing users to analyse end effects including: demagnetization, advanced electromagnetic phenomena, and calculation of the thermal cover for operation and design of complete motor cooling systems.
