Windchill

Windchill can be integrated with all leading MCAD systems to allow users to manage and modify CAD data and the relevant documents (e.g. Word, Adobe PDF) without leaving the native MCAD environment. As a web-based solution, access to data is optimised for remote workers.

Product variants can now be designed, created, managed and validated strategically. The options, choices, logic and platform configuration rules are directly linked to the bill of materials, 3D view and CAD data, to offer a robust modular solution. Information can be managed entirely via the platform throughout the lifecycle, making it easy to access to validate the product and share it with other company tools such as ERP and CPQ.

The MPM functionality offered by Windchill makes it possible to enter workshop data in MPM for more efficient processes. End users can access the technical processing instructions upon request (on a screen or using augmented reality) before carrying out their work or assisting with completion of another activity. 

For organisations interested in utilising the cloud, Windchill and ThingWorx Navigate can be deployed via the private cloud. Windchill is also certified for Microsoft Azure and AWS.
